We are looking for a dynamic, smart, creative, self-motivated, camp-loving individual who thrives on community and is looking to be the best! The ideal candidate will have an excellent command of best practices, trends and tools in social media marketing and digital content strategy. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, administering and monitoring the performance of social, web and digital marketing campaigns for Camps Airy and Louise. The position is the focal point of responsibility for the Airy/Louise brand in the online atmosphere. With your can-do attitude, you will have the opportunity to lead the industry in digital media.
- Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms to foster community, attract new campers and engage current families and alumni. Generate, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, graphics) that builds relationships with community members and results in meaningful engagements.
- Manage development of website updates and maintenance (including graphic design, blog content, SEO/SEM, calls to action, etc.) Ensure website is maintained in accordance with brand guidelines. Manage our paid advertising efforts via search engines (Adwords) and social networks. Support the marketing efforts of our team including email, lead nurturing/lifecycle, graphic design, analytics, etc.
- Produce visual content (video, photo, banners, etc) for print, web and video feeds; shoot, produce, edit summer video content while camp is in session. Design graphics and collateral to support social media and other marketing efforts.
Responsible for integrating all of aforementioned duties with Camps Airy and Louise marketing programs to create a cohesive experience that builds awareness of the Airy/Louise brand and creates community, engages current families and alumni, potential campers and their families.

Skills and Educational Requirements
4 year degree preferred. Active and well-rounded presence on social media, with a command of each network and their best practices. Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to be self-directed, initiate new ideas and be able to implement. Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, WordPress. Salary commensurate with experience.
From September through May, you’ll work out of our Baltimore, MD office and from June through August you’ll live and work at one of our camps (approximately 1 hour from Baltimore) – Camp Airy in Thurmont, MD or Camp Louise in Cascade, MD.
