Camper in Training Day is a great way for prospective campers and their parents to come and experience a day at camp.
- Who: Prospective Camp Families (Note: Camper in Training Day is only open to families who have not registered yet.)
- What: Camper in Training Day
- Where: Our beautiful camps – Camp Airy (in Thurmont, Maryland) and Camp Louise (in Cascade, Maryland)
- When: July 12, 2015
This day is guaranteed to be filled with fun, laughter, action, and friendships, and is a super introduction to what we hope will be the start of many, many summers as an Airy/Louise camper (and who knows, maybe even counselor!).
Your camper will take part in a full day of camp: swim, play ball, craft and more! It is important that your camper dress accordingly. T-shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers are standard apparel for the day. Be sure to bring a swimsuit, towel and sunscreen. (And if it's a little rainy that day, bring a sweatshirt or jacket – just in case! This program goes rain or shine!!). Also, if your camper requires any type of medication throughout the day, please be sure to bring it along. Parents will dispense the medications.
Parents of campers will need to stay at camp for the full day. We'll provide parent tours and answer all questions about camp. Parents will eat lunch at their own table and experience their own special day of camp fun. Parents and Campers will have their own schedules to follow so that each group gets a true feel for what a typical camp day is like.
